Those of you who know me or read my blog know that one of the things that is near and dear to my heart is empowering and supporting women. Whether that is through my work as a coach, or an author, or through such projects as The Vagina Monologues. After a recent call and then post to FaceBook a new acquaintance shared the following YouTube Video with me. It was deeply moving and inspiring and the vocals touched my heart. Just to share a little tidbit, I shared info about the upcoming show with some of my favorite radio personalities on 107.1, The Get Real Girls, Liv and Joan. On their Get Real Recommends page Click Here Liv has our show listed. Though there is a slight goof on the dates on the page, the phone number and other information is correct so people can call and order tickets or just show up at the door next Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. She also mentioned us live on the air this morning as something to do this coming weekend! Thanks to Liv and Joan for their support!

Tickets are on sale today (Wed. Feb. 3) from 10a - 3p in the University Center. This will also be happening on Tuesday, Feb 9 and Wednesday, Feb 10.

Please stop by the table or call 715-425-3911 to reserve/purchase tickets. We are reserving tickets at our tables so if you don't have the money now you can still get the advanced price at the door.

$5.oo for students, $8.00 for non-students.

You can also get tickets at the door on the day of the show-- $8 for students, $10 for non-students.

Remember, this is a charity performance, and we're trying to raise money for Turningpoint (local advocate & women's shelter) and part of the proceeds will go to help women in Democratic Republic of Congo.
