Expressing Gratitude

Today I express heartfelt gratitude on the fifth anniversary of the launch of WyseWomen LLC and Cantadora's Way LLC as an independent publisher, author, and retreat facilitator for women artists.

My first inspirations came from reading and listening to the work of Marc Allen and many of his authors at New World Library. Many years later I am still deeply inspired. The monthly teleconferences where he so lovingly shared his wisdom and knowledge were pivotal in the creation of my passion and work. The inspirational teleconference in October 2009 where he answered my questions about the first book  he wrote and published started me on my path. That call all those years ago was the light from Spirit that confirmed my path and put my doubts to rest. I had wanted to write books since I was fourteen and doubted myself and any message I might share as having already been said by someone else, better than I ever could. That one teleconference call was what I needed to follow my heart and put those old tapes to rest.

I read his book 'The Greatest Secret Of All'  and followed all of his advice for writing my perfect scene.

I created fourteen pages in one sitting, including in it my goals and joys all with ease in healthy and positive ways for the best and highest good, stating this or something better. I was also inspired by reading the words of Catherine Ponder and she helped me in creating my perfect scene. It was a very joyful process and came flowing through me so clearly.
 
I’ve realized my perfect scene and I’m now living my joy as an independent publisher writer and retreat facilitator.

The books I publish speak to the beauty and wonder of the human spirit. They share an overall message of loving kindness, bodhicitta, and tools for self awareness and planetary healing from a women’s perspective. Marc's mentorship helped me to go with my hearts creativity and create retreats for my authors, and retreats for my wonderful team that has been a part of my supportive circle from the very beginning.

Over the years I have tithed to organizations that support literacy in young budding writers and artists of all kinds. I’ve created programs that revitalize and support creative people doing the work of the Spirit, whether you call that Spirit God, Jesus, Buddha, Orenda, Quan Yin, or by some other name. 

I tithe twenty percent of my revenue to organizations that support others including our church, Heifer International and Kiva.

My experiences with Marc's teaching made this possible.
